Joel Knight - Baritone

Brian Shaw      Don Everest      Tam Large

Joel started singing in 2001 and joined the Good Times Chorus in Bloomington, MN, USA, in 2002. He has been singing a cappella since then. He started out his barbershop career as a baritone but switched over to lead in 2003. Joel sang with a quartet for three years in Bloomington, first as baritone for a year then as tenor.

A secondary science teacher, Joel had the opportunity come to the UK in Jan 2007 to work. He sang with Chelmsford Star Harmony for six months while working in Colchester. Changing jobs in the autumn of that year, he joined the lead section with Windsor A Cappella that November. The highlight of Joel’s life in barbershop came in May 2008, when the chorus won a silver medal at the convention in Cheltenham. Joel originally joined the quartet as our tenor in 2010 and then moved to baritone in 2011.

Joel was thrilled when invited to join “Experiment IV”, but he prefers coffee to tea. He does, however, gladly share homemade biscuits with the rest of the guys, who seem to enjoy them.
